Replacement Oil Transfer Pipe
This hose assembly was primarily designed to replace the inadequate factory pipe that fits between the block and the oil filter housing on single point injection Mini Coopers. Sept.1992 to Oct.1996

However with different adapters it will fit all A Series engines and can be modified to suit custom applications.

History
When the new Injection Cooper was launched a series of important changes were made to improve the engine and the car in general. A number of items were obviously targeted as a cost saving exercise. Unfortunately the oil transfer pipe, which carries oil from the block down to the oil filter housing fell into this category.
The quite substantial, original banjo and bolt fixing were dispensed with for a rather more fragile fitting. This has achieved quite a reputation for at best regularly leaking and at the worst blowing out the block altogether.

New improved adapter design for 2003!
Custom made adapters are supplied to suit the injection cars unusual thread size which Rover chose to use and these are fitted with genuine "Dowty" seals to ensure an oil tight fit.

All hose assemblies are pressure tested to 800psi.
